Junko Maya
was a Japanese actress. Her skill was Buyō. Personal life Maya was born in Busan, Korea during the Korea under Japanese rule, Japanese colonial era, and grew up in Hita, Ōita, Japan. She married actor Sumio Takatsu (:ja:高津住男, 高津住男) in 1969; he died of liver cancer in 2010. Maya died on 28 December 2017 from a stroke. is a Japanese TV drama and manga series created and illustrated by Mitsuteru Yokoyama, the creator of ''Tetsujin 28-go'' and ''Giant Robo''. Also, a two-hour special aired on March 20, 2006, commemorating the fiftieth anniversary of the '' National Gekijō'', which occupies the Monday evening 8:00–8:54 pm time slot on the TBS network, sponsored by Matsushita. is a Japanese ''jidaigeki'' or period drama that was on prime-time television from 1969 to 2011, making it the longest-running ''jidaigeki'' in Japanese television history. The title character is the historic Tokugawa Mitsukuni, former vice-''shōgun'' and retired second ''daimyō'' of the Mito Domain. In the guise of Mitsuemon, a retired crepe merchant from Echigo, he roams Japan with two samurai retainers, fun-loving Sasaki Sukesaburō (Suke-san) and studious Atsumi Kakunoshin (Kaku-san). (Dai Chushingura) is a Japanese television dramatization of the events of the Forty-seven Ronin. The first episode aired on January 5, 1971, and the 52nd and final episode appeared on December 28 of the same year. The NET network broadcast it in the Tuesday evening 9:00–9:56 prime-time slot in Japan. The series featured an all-star cast. The central actor was Toshiro Mifune, who portrayed Ōishi Kuranosuke; Yoko Tsukasa his wife; and kabuki actor Onoe Kikugorō VII their son Chikara.
