Julius Wanyoike
Julius Wanyoike (born 1967, Gaichanjiru) is an Anglican bishop in Anglican Church of Kenya, Kenya: he has been Bishop of Anglican Diocese of Thika, Thika since 2013. Wanyoike was born in 1967 and trained for ministry at Bishop Kariuki College from 1991 to 1993, he proceeded to Tangaza College and England for Bachelor's degree and Master's Degree respectively. He was ordained in 1993. He served at Ngong, Kenya, Ngong, Makongeni and Harborne, Harborne, Birmingham, England. He is married with three children. Ngong is a town near the Ngong Hills along the Great Rift Valley within Kajiado County, located in the southwest of Nairobi, in southern Kenya. The word ''"Ngong"'' is a Maasai word derived from the word "enkong'u' meaning "the 'eye' of water" or spring from where Rhinos came to drink water.
