Julius Johansen (born 13 September 1999) is a Danish professional racing cyclist, who currently rides for UCI WorldTeam . He rode in the men's team pursuit event at the 2017 UCI Track Cycling World Championships and won gold at the 2017 UCI Road World Championships in the junior men's road race. Blovstrød
Blovstrød is a small town and parish in Allerød Municipality, North Zealand, located some 30 km north of Copenhagen, Denmark. The town is situated on the east side of Lyngby Kongevej, approximately one kilometre east of Lillerød and Allerød station. Two new neighbourhoods, Ny Blovstrød and Teglværkskvarteret, are planned on the west side of Lyngby Kongevej. History Early history Blovstrød is first mentioned in 1265 as ''Blaustruth''. The first part of the name may be derived from the male name ''Blawæsti (Sorte-Væsti) while the suffix -rød means "clearing". The area was from the early Middle Ages crown land and in 1700 Blovstrød was one of the parishes that were placed under Hirschholm Palace which was given to Louise of Mecklenburg-Güstrow as her personal property by king Frederick IV. UCI Road World Championships – Junior Men's Road Race
UCI Road World Championships – Men's junior road race is the annual UCI Road World Championships, world championship race for road bicycle racing for men in the Junior category. It is organised by the world governing body, the Union Cycliste Internationale. In the period 2005–2009 this event was part of the UCI Juniors World Championships, then the UCI Juniors Road World Championships in 2010. In 2020 no junior race was held due to the COVID-19 pandemic. The winner of the event is entitled to wear the rainbow jersey in Junior competitions for one year. 2017 UCI Road World Championships
The 2017 UCI Road World Championships were held in 2017 in Bergen, Norway. It was the 90th UCI Road World Championships and the second to be held in Norway, after the 1993 world championships in Oslo. Chantal Blaak of the Netherlands won the women's road race and Peter Sagan of Slovakia won the men's road race. Sagan became the first man to win three successive world road race championships. Bidding process It was announced on 25 September 2014 following a two-day meeting held in conjunction with the 2014 UCI Road World Championships in Ponferrada, Spain, that Bergen was elected to host the Championships in 2017. The city was chosen over Innsbruck (Austria), Melbourne (Australia) and Bogotá (Colombia). Bergen sent in their application by 1 January 2014. 2017 UCI Track Cycling World Championships
The 2017 UCI Track Cycling World Championships were the World Championships for track cycling in 2017. They took place in Hong Kong in the Hong Kong Velodrome from 12 to 16 April 2017. The last time the championships took place in Asia was at the 1990 UCI Track Cycling World Championships in Japan at the Green Dome Maebashi.
