Julie Brixie
Julie Brixie is a Democratic member of the Michigan House of Representatives. Biography Julie Brixie was born in Chicago, IL to two teachers. She received a B.S. in Physical Geography from the University of Illinois. During college, she met her husband, and the two moved to East Lansing, Michigan. There, she received her Master’s in crop and soil sciences with a specialization in environmental toxicology from Michigan State University. She then ran a mobile laboratory, conducting investigations and cleanups of contaminated sites in Michigan, and raised her children with her husband in mid-Michigan. Public Service Brixie served on the Meridian Township board for eighteen years. Meridian Charter Township, Michigan
Meridian Charter Township is a charter township of Ingham County in the U.S. state of Michigan. As of the 2010 census, the township had a population of 39,688. The township is named after the Michigan meridian, which comprises the eastern border of the township. The township contains the unincorporated communities of Haslett and Okemos. Bordering East Lansing to the west, Meridian Charter Township is the third-largest municipality within the Lansing–East Lansing metropolitan area. History Meridian Township was first settled by pioneers in 1836. In November 1836 Obed Marshall purchased of land near present-day Haslett. The earliest settlers located at Pine Lake (now Lake Lansing) and made use of the numerous stands of pines to build their cabin. Samir Singh (born March 4, 1971) is a Democratic politician from Michigan who serves in the Michigan Senate. He formerly served as a member of the East Lansing East Lansing is a city in the U.S. state of Michigan. Michigan State University
Michigan State University (Michigan State, MSU) is a public university, public Land-grant university, land-grant research university in East Lansing, Michigan.
