Juinagar
Juinagar is an area in Navi Mumbai of Maharashtra, Maharashtra state in Konkan division. It is also the name of a Juinagar railway station, railway station on the Harbour Line (Mumbai Suburban Railway), Harbour Line of the Mumbai Suburban Railway. Railway colony is the biggest colony in Juinagar though much of the residential blocks belong to the CIDCO and a few other private housing societies. The main market is near Sadguru Hotel and Suyog Arcade - which is the most prominent complex in the area. On the whole, Juinagar is a small but self-sufficient township having excellent connectivity to Vashi and Nerul. Of late, the sprawling of a multi-facility hospital named Mangal Prabhu and a new Filling station, petrol pump at the main market has made life more convenient for the dwellers. Juinagar Railway Station
Juinagar is a railway station on the Harbour Line of the Mumbai Suburban Railway network. Juinagar Station Complex is located in sector 11 of Sanpada node but its very close to Nerul and can be called the external suburb of Nerul. It is adjoining to Sion–Panvel Highway. It is an attractive station complex in terms of location and aesthetics with colourful murals and outrageous fibreglass sculptures and hence is frequently used for film shootings. Ganeshotsav
Ganesh Chaturthi (ISO: ), also known as Vinayak Chaturthi (), or Ganeshotsav () is a Hindu festival commemorating the birth of the Hindu god Ganesha. The festival is marked with the installation of Ganesha's clay idols privately in homes and publicly on elaborate pandals (temporary stages). Observances include chanting of Vedic hymns and Hindu texts, such as prayers and ''vrata'' (fasting). Offerings and ''prasada'' from the daily prayers, that are distributed from the pandal to the community, include sweets such as modaka as it is believed to be a favourite of Ganesha. The festival ends on the tenth day after start, when the idol is carried in a public procession with music and group chanting, then immersed in a nearby body of water such as a river or sea, called visarjan on the day of Anant Chaturdashi. Harbour Line (Mumbai Suburban Railway)
The Harbour line is a branch line of the Mumbai Suburban Railway operated by Central Railway. It was named so because it catered to the eastern neighbourhoods along the city's natural harbour. Its termini are Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj Terminus (CSMT), Goregaon and Panvel on the CSMT-Goregaon, CSMT-Panvel and Panvel-Goregaon routes. The line is a double line and therefore does not have any fast trains on it. The line runs parallel to the Central Railway line till just before Sandhurst Road station where the line turns eastward and runs elevated up till Sewri. At Wadala Road, the line branches into two. The first line joins with the Western line at Mahim and terminates at Goregaon. The second line follows through Mankhurd into the city of Navi Mumbai, where it again branches out into two lines, one going to Thane ( Trans-Harbour Line) and the other to Panvel. Navi Mumbai (), is a planned city situated on the west coast of the Indian subcontinent, located in the Konkan division of Maharashtra state, on the mainland of India. Chhatrapati Shivaji Terminus
Chhatrapati Shivaji Terminus (officially Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj Terminus, Bombay station code: CSMT ( mainline)/ST (suburban)), is a historic railway terminus and UNESCO World Heritage Site in Mumbai, Maharashtra, India. The terminus was designed by a British born architectural engineer Frederick William Stevens from an initial design by Axel Haig, in an exuberant Italian Gothic style. Its construction began in 1878, in a location south of the old Bori Bunder railway station,Page 64 and was completed in 1887, the year marking 50 years of Queen Victoria's rule. Uran
Uran is a coastal town and part of Navi Mumbai, Maharashtra state in Konkan division. It lies in the Raigad district, east of Mumbai across the Dharamtar Creek.
