Juhani Kaskeala
Admiral Pauli Juhani Kaskeala (born 26 July 1946, Kuopio) is a senior Finnish admiral and was Chief of Defence of the Finnish Defence Forces from 2001 to 1 August 2009. In 1982, Kaskeala was appointed as Third Aide-de-Camp to the President of the Republic, Mauno Koivisto, eventually serving as First Aide-de-Camp from 1987. From 1989 to 1991, he was commander of a missile squadron in the Coastal Fleet. Kaskeala was then a military attaché in London, The Hague and Brussels between 1991 and 1994, before serving as principal secretary to the Defence Council 1994–1997, and as Commander of the Turku And Pori Military Province 1997–1998. Kuopio
Kuopio (, ) is a Finnish city and municipality located in the region of Northern Savonia. It has a population of , which makes it the most populous municipality in Finland. Along with Joensuu, Kuopio is one of the major urban, economic, and cultural hubs of Eastern Finland. At the end of 2018, its urban area had a population of 89,307. Ari Tapani Puheloinen (born 26 December 1951) is a Finnish General who was Chief of Defence of the Finnish Defence Forces between 2009 and 2014. Ari Puheloinen was born in Taipalsaari as the second son of the family of an electrician and a cleaner. Gustav Hägglund
Johan Edvin Birger Gustav Hägglund (born 6 September 1938, in Viipuri) is a retired Finland-Swedish general. He was the Chief of Defence 1994–2001, and Chairman of the European Union Military Committee 2001–2004. Career Hägglund's father was General Woldemar Hägglund, commander of the Karelian Front in the Second World War. He was born in Viipuri, an area ceded to the Soviet Union in the Second World War. Despite his Swedish-speaking family background, Finnish language immersion was total in his youth, and he ultimately had to learn Swedish at school. Hägglund went to Svenska normallyceum i Helsingfors and was then educated not only at the Cadet School in Finland, but also attended the United States Army Command and General Staff College in Leavenworth, Kansas. He is also a fellow of Harvard University. MTV3 ( fi, MTV Kolme, sv, MTV Tre) is a Finnish commercial television station. It had the biggest audience share of all Finnish TV channels until Yle TV1 (from Yle) took the lead. The letters MTV stand for Mainos-TV (literally "Advertisement-TV", i.e. "Commercial TV), due to the channel carrying advertising for revenue.
