Juha Kankkunen
Juha Matti Pellervo Kankkunen (; born 2 April 1959) is a Finnish former rally driver. His factory team career in the World Rally Championship lasted from 1983 to 2002. He won 23 world rallies and four drivers' world championship titles, which were both once records in the series. Both Sébastien Loeb and Sébastien Ogier have since collected more world titles, but no driver was able to repeat Kankkunen's feat of becoming a world champion with three different manufacturers until Ogier matched this achievement in 2020. Kankkunen was signed by Toyota Team Europe in 1983 and he took his first WRC win in his third year in the team. His performances got him a deal with the defending champions Peugeot for 1986, and Kankkunen was soon crowned the series' then youngest-ever champion. As Peugeot withdrew from the championship following the ban of Group B, Kankkunen moved to Lancia and became the first driver to successfully defend his title. Juha Leiviskä
Juha Ilmari Leiviskä (born 17 March 1936 in Helsinki) is a prominent Finnish architect and designer. He is especially known for his churches and other sacral buildings. Life and career The son of engineer Toivo Ilmari Leiviskä and teacher Sonja Jämsén-Astala, Leiviskä studied architecture at Helsinki University of Technology, qualifying as an architect in 1963. He established his own office in 1964, while also working as a teaching assistant at Helsinki University of Technology. Leiviskä also worked with architect Bertel Saarnio, and together they won the architectural competition for the Kouvola Town Hall (1964–68), regarded as one of the most significant public buildings in Finland during the 1960s, and brought much critical attention to the young architect. Juha Pekka Hakola (born 27 October 1987) is a Finnish professional footballer who plays as a winger for Grankulla IFK in the Kakkonen. Club career Hakola played two seasons for FC Flora Tallinn. Hakola was named the Meistriliiga Footballer of the Year for his performances for Flora in 2007. In 2007, he also went on trial with RCD Espanyol. On 30 December it was announced that Hakola signed a 1.5-year contract with Heracles Almelo in the Dutch Eredivisie. He made his league debut for the new team on 17 January 2009 against ADO Den Haag. Juha Janhunen (born 12 February 1952 in Pori, Finland) is a Finnish linguist whose wide interests include Uralic and Mongolic languages. Since 1994 he has been Professor in East Asian studies at the University of Helsinki. He has done fieldwork on Samoyedic languages and on Khamnigan Mongol. More recently he has collaborated with Chinese scholar Wu Yingzhe to produce a critical edition of two newly discovered Liao Dynasty epitaphs written in the Khitan small script. Juha Leimu (born January 30, 1983 in Tampere, Finland) is a Finnish former professional ice hockey defenceman. Playing career Leimu made his SM-liiga debut in 2009–10 when he was offered an eight-game trial period with Tappara having spent the start of the season in Lempäälän Kisa. After the tryout his contract was extended for the rest of the season. Leimu recorded 24 points in 36 games and was awarded a three-year extension in May 2010. Juha Hirvi (born 25 March 1960 in Kymi) is a Finnish sport shooter. He won the silver medal in men's 50 metre rifle three positions at the 2000 Summer Olympics. He has also won two silver medals in ISSF World Shooting Championships. He was the flag-bearer for Finland at the 2008 Beijing Summer Olympics opening ceremony. Juha Hirvi made Finnish Olympic history in 2008 when he participated in his sixth Olympic Games, which is a record among Finnish athletes.
