Juan Rojas (Paraguayan Footballer)
Juan Carlos Rojas Díaz (born 17 December 1945) is a Paraguayan footballer who played as a midfielder. He appeared in 17 matches for the Paraguay national team from 1965 to 1967. He was also part of Paraguay's squad for the 1967 South American Championship The 1967 South American Football Championship was won by hosts Uruguay, with Argentina finished second. Asunción (, , , Guarani: Paraguay) is the capital and the largest city of Paraguay. The city stands on the eastern bank of the Paraguay River, almost at the confluence of this river with the Pilcomayo River. The Paraguay River and the Bay of Asunción in the northwest separate the city from the Occidental Region of Paraguay and from Argentina in the south part of the city. The rest of the city is surrounded by the Central Department. Xerez Club Deportivo, known simply as Xerez, is a Spanish football team based in Jerez de la Frontera, in the autonomous community of Andalusia. Xerez currently plays in Tercera División RFEF, the fifth tier of Spanish football. A midfielder is an outfield position in association football. Midfielders may play an exclusively defensive role, breaking up attacks, and are in that case known as defensive midfielders.
