Juan Carlos Flores
Juan Carlos Flores (1962–2016) was a Cuban poet. Flores published a number of books in Cuba including his award-winning ''Los Pájaros Escritos''. Flores was born in Havana in 1962 and committed suicide in September 2016. Biography Juan Carlos Flores was born in Havana, Cuba, in 1962. In 1971, he moved to Alamar, a community built just to the east of Havana and considered one of the largest housing projects in the world. He originally lived in Zone 4, one of the first sections to be built, and later moved to Zone 6. In 2012, he travelled outside of Cuba for the first time to speak to Brown University students about his book, ''El contragolpe''. Flores lived as an outsider in Cuba, holding no university degree or traditional job. As a writer, he was a well-known participant in the cosmopolitan literary culture of Havana. Alamar
''For the film see Alamar (film)'' Alamar, also known as Alamar-Playa, is a district in east part of the city of La Habana in Cuba, part of the ''municipio'' of Habana del Este. This district is primarily prefabrication construction of Soviet-style architecture. Because of this, Cuban poet Juan Carlos Flores has described it as "The Heart of The Russian Barrio". The president of the ward is Margarita Basilia Araujo Suárez. Experimental Poetry
Experimental literature is a genre that is, according to Warren Motte in his essa"Experimental Writing, Experimental Reading" "difficult to define with any sort of precision." He says the "writing is often invoked in an "offhand manner" and the focus is on "form rather than content." It can be in written form of prose narrative or poetry, but the text may be set on the page in differing configurations than that of normal prose paragraphs or in the classical stanza form of verse. It may also be entwined with images of a real or abstract nature, with the use of art or photography. Furthermore, while experimental literature was traditionally handwritten on paper or vellum, the digital age has seen an exponential leaning to the use of digital computer technologies. Cuban Culture

Suicide is the act of intentionally causing one's own death. Mental disorders (including depression, bipolar disorder, schizophrenia, personality disorders, anxiety disorders), physical disorders (such as chronic fatigue syndrome), and substance abuse (including alcoholism and the use of and withdrawal from benzodiazepines) are risk factors. Some suicides are impulsive acts due to stress (such as from financial or academic difficulties), relationship problems (such as breakups or divorces), or harassment and bullying.
