Juan Carlos Amorós
Juan Carlos Amorós López (born 3 June 1984) is a Spanish football manager who is currently the head coach of NJ/NY Gotham FC of the American National Women's Soccer League (NWSL). He previously managed NWSL club Houston Dash, Spanish club Real Betis, and English club Tottenham Hotspur. Managerial career Tottenham Hotspur Amorós began his coaching career at Tottenham Hotspur F.C. Women in 2011, as co-manager with Karen Hills. Following the club's promotion to the top-flight Women's Super League after the 2018–19 season, Hills and Amorós signed two-year deals to continue in their roles. However, they were both fired seven matches into the 2019–20 season and replaced with England women's national football team assistant Rehanne Skinner. NWSL Playoffs
The National Women's Soccer League Playoffs (or NWSL Playoffs) are a single elimination tournament among six teams in the National Women's Soccer League of the United States, deciding the winner of the NWSL Championship. Since playoff games cannot end in ties, those are broken by two straight 15-minute extra time periods, followed by shootouts of best-of-five rounds plus extra rounds as required. Format The top six teams in the final standings at the end of the NWSL season qualify for the playoffs and are seeded in order of their record; the top two teams receive a first-round bye. The Chicago Red Stars are a professional women's soccer club based in Bridgeview, Illinois, a suburb of Chicago. A founding member of the Women's Professional Soccer (WPS) league, they have played in the National Women's Soccer League (NWSL) since 2013. WPS was the NWSL's predecessor as the professional women's soccer league in the United States, and the Red Stars played in the WPS in 2009 and 2010. After leaving the WPS in December 2010 due to the league's financial issues, the club joined the Women's Premier Soccer League (WPSL) for the 2011 season. A hat-trick or hat trick is the achievement of a generally positive feat three times in a match, or another achievement based on the number three. Origin The term first appeared in 1858 in cricket, to describe H. H. Stephenson taking three wickets with three consecutive deliveries. Ebony Salmon (born 27 January 2001) is an English professional footballer who plays as a forward for NWSL club Houston Dash and the England women's national team.
