Jozef Adamec
Jozef Adamec (26 February 1942 – 24 December 2018) was a Slovak football forward and manager. Adamec won seven Czechoslovak First League titles in his club career, winning two with Dukla Prague during his military service, followed by five more while playing for Spartak Trnava. Other clubs he played for were Slovan Bratislava and lower-division Austrian club Slovan Wien, where he took on a player-manager role. As a football manager, Adamec took charge of clubs in Czechoslovakia and later Slovakia. Between 1999 and 2001 he led the Slovakia national football team. Career In the Czechoslovak First League he played 383 matches and with 170 goals is 10th in the Czechoslovak All-Time Topscorers Table. He was capped 44 times for Czechoslovakia, scoring 14 goals. Vrbové
Vrbové (german: Vrbau (modernized: ''Werbau''); hu, Verbó) is a town in the Trnava Region of Slovakia. It has a population of about 6,000. The town lies around northwest from Piešťany. Ernst Wilimowski
Ernest Otton Wilimowski (, born Ernst Otto Prandella; 23 June 1916 – 30 August 1997), nicknamed "Ezi", was a Association football, footballer who played as a Forward (association football), forward. He ranks among the best goalscorers in the history of both the Poland national football team, Poland national team and Polish club football. After re-taking German citizenship following the invasion of Poland, he also played for the Germany national football team, Germany national team. Wilimowski was the first player to score four goals in a single FIFA World Cup game. A player-coach (also playing coach, captain-coach, or player-manager) is a member of a sports team who simultaneously holds both playing and coaching duties. A player-coach may be a head coach or an assistant coach. They may make changes to the squad and also play on the team. Very few current major professional sports teams have head coaches who are also players, though it is common for senior players to take a role in managing more junior athletes. FC Spartak Trnava () is a Slovak professional football club based in Trnava. Czechoslovak First League
The Czechoslovak First League ( cs, 1. fotbalová liga, sk, 1. futbalová liga) was the premier football league in the Czechoslovakia from 1925 to 1993, with the exception of World War II. Czechoslovakia was occupied by German forces who formed Gauliga Sudetenland and Gauliga Böhmen und Mähren leagues on occupied territories. Until the 1934-35 season, no teams from Slovakia participated in the league. Czechs were allowed to run their own league in the Protectorate of Bohemia and Moravia, while Slovaks were granted their own independent Slovak State and created their own league.
