Jovan Veselinov
Jovan Veselinov Žarko (20 January 1906 – 8 February 1982) was a Serbian communist politician. He served as President of Serbia, Prime Minister of Serbia and as a Chairman of the League of Communists of Serbia. He was a Partisan fighter in World War II, and was proclaimed People's Hero of Yugoslavia. Controversy Famed economist and politician Edvard Kardelj was shot and wounded on a hunting trip in 1959 by Veselinov. The president of Serbia ( sr, Председник Србије, Predsednik Srbije), officially styled as the President of the Republic ( sr, Председник Републике, Predsednik Republike) is the head of state of Serbia. Slobodan "Krcun" Penezić ( sr-cyr, Слободан Пенезић Крцун; 2 July 1918 – 6 November 1964) was a Yugoslav communist politician who served as Prime Minister and Minister of Internal Affairs of the Socialist Republic of Serbia. Edvard Kardelj
Edvard Kardelj (; 27 January 1910 – 10 February 1979), also known by the pseudonyms Bevc, Sperans and Krištof, was a Yugoslav politician and economist. He was one of the leading members of the Communist Party of Slovenia before World War II. During the war, Kardelj was one of the leaders of the Liberation Front of the Slovenian People and a Slovene Partisan, and after the war, he was a federal political leader in the Socialist Federal Republic of Yugoslavia and led the Yugoslav delegation in peace talks with Italy over the border dispute in the Julian March.
