José Pedro Braga
José Pedro "Jack" Braga, OBE ( Chinese: 布力架; 1871—1944 Macau) was a member of a Macaense family whose forebears came from Portugal to the colony of Macau in 1714. His maternal grandfather Delfino Noronha moved to Hong Kong from Macau about 1844 and established a successful printing business, Noronha and Co., which from 1859 until 1941 were printers to the Hong Kong Government. Braga was born in Hong Kong on 3 August 1871, the eighth child of Vicente Emílio Braga and Carolina Maria Braga, née Noronha. His father was Chief Accountant at the Imperial Japanese Mint at Osaka, Japan, from 1871 to 1875 and then Instructor of Book Keeping in the Okurasho, the Finance Ministry in Tokyo until 1878. John Cecil Macgown
John Cecil Macgown was a Scottish doctor in Hong Kong and member of the sanitary board. Macgown went to Hong Kong and was the principal of the medical firm of Macgown, Anderson, and Durran and principal medical officer of China Underwriters, Ltd.. He was on the consulting staff of the Alice Memorial Hospital and affiliated hospital and member of the New Territories medical benevolent branch of the St. John Ambulance Brigade. Dr. Macgown served in the Hong Kong Volunteer Defence Corps, holding the rank of major in the medical section of the corps from 1914 to 1918 during the First World War. Macgown was the president of the Hong Kong St. Andrew's Society. He was an amateur rider and owner and chairman of the Fanling Hunt and Race Club and a steward of the Hong Kong Jockey Club. Leo D'Almada E Castro
Leonardo Horácio d'Almada e Castro Jr. (; 28 May 1904 – 1996) was a barrister and prominent leader of the Portuguese community in Hong Kong. Biography He was born in Hong Kong in the d'Alamda family which had existed since the British rule of Hong Kong in 1842. He was educated as St. Joseph's College and the University of Hong Kong. He later claimed he failed in completing his studies because of his laziness. He left for England and graduated in jurisprudence from the Exeter College, Oxford in 1926 and was called to the Bar as a member of the Middle Temple in 1927. He briefly lectured commercial law at the University of Hong Kong before he started practising law in Hong Kong. Until 1960, he was one of the only four Queen's Counsel practising in Hong Kong, the others were namely, John McNeil, Charles Loseby and Brook Bernacchi.
