Josh Shipp (basketball)
Joshua Ian Shipp (born February 14, 1986) is an American former professional basketball player who last played for Brose Baskets of the Basketball Bundesliga. Shipp played college basketball for the UCLA Bruins. He has played professionally in Turkey and Germany. High school Under coach Harvey Kitani, Shipp led the Fairfax Lions to the California Division I state title. As a junior, he helped lead his team to the City finals and received All-State underclassman and All-City second-team honors. College As a freshman at the University of California, Los Angeles, Shipp started 23 games for the Bruins and was named Honorable Mention All- Pac-10 Freshman. He averaged 9.3 points and 5.2 rebounds. Shipp underwent surgery on his right hip on September 28, 2005, and missed the first 11 games. Carlon Michael Brown (born October 4, 1989) is an American former professional basketball player. He played college basketball for Utah and Colorado before playing professionally in Israel and Germany. He was the 2013–14 top scorer in the Israel Basketball Premier League. The Chicago Bulls are an American professional basketball team based in Chicago. The 2009 NBA draft was held on June 25, 2009, at the WaMu Theatre at Madison Square Garden in New York City. In this draft, the National Basketball Association (NBA) teams took turns selecting amateur U.S. college basketball players and other eligible players, including international players. John Wooden
John Robert Wooden (October 14, 1910 – June 4, 2010) was an American basketball coach and player. Nicknamed the Wizard of Westwood, he won ten National Collegiate Athletic Association (NCAA) national championships in a 12-year period as head coach for the UCLA Bruins, including a record seven in a row. No other team has won more than four in a row in Division I college men's or women's basketball. Within this period, his teams won an NCAA men's basketball record 88 consecutive games. Wooden won the prestigious Henry Iba Award as national coach of the year a record seven times and won the AP award five times. Alfred Aboya Baliaba (born 2 January 1985) is a Cameroonian former professional basketball player and current coach. He played college basketball for the UCLA Bruins, advancing to three Final Fours. He was a member of the winningest class in UCLA history with 123 wins. Aboya grew up and attended high school in Cameroon before attending prep school in the United States. The 2006–07 Florida Gators men's basketball team represented the University of Florida in the sport of basketball during the 2006–07 college basketball season. The Gators competed in Division I of the National Collegiate Athletic Association (NCAA) and the Eastern Division of the Southeastern Conference (SEC). They were led by head coach Billy Donovan, and played their home games in the O'Connell Center on the university's Gainesville, Florida campus. The Gators were looking to repeat as national champions. The Gators finished the season with a 26–5 record entering the SEC Championship.
