Josh Parker
Joshua Kevin Stanley Parker (born 1 December 1990) is a professional footballer who plays as a striker for National League South side Oxford City and the Antigua and Barbuda national team. Club career Queens Park Rangers Parker started his career at Queens Park Rangers (QPR). In January 2010 he joined Conference National club AFC Wimbledon on loan. He made just two substitute appearances for the club. On 10 April 2010 he made his Championship debut, replacing Adel Taarabt as a last-minute substitute, in a 2–0 win over Crystal Palace at Selhurst Park. He got his first start two weeks later in a 1–0 win at Barnsley. At the end of the season, manager Neil Warnock offered the youngster a new one-year deal. Neil Warnock (born 1 December 1948) is an English former football manager and player. He is also a television and radio pundit. In a managerial career spanning five decades, Warnock has managed sixteen different clubs from the Premier League to non-league. He holds the record for the most promotions in English football, with eight. Selhurst Park is a football stadium in Selhurst in the London Borough of Croydon which is the home ground of Premier League side Crystal Palace. In association football, a substitute is a player who is brought on to the pitch during a match in exchange for an existing player. Substitutions are generally made to replace a player who has become tired or injured, or who is performing poorly, or for tactical reasons (such as bringing a striker on in place of a defender). A player who has been substituted during a match takes no further part in the game, in games played under the standard International Football Association Board Laws of the Game. Substitutions were officially added to the Laws of the Game in 1958. Adel Taarabt ( ar, عادل تاعرابت; born 24 May 1989) is a Moroccan professional footballer who plays as an attacking midfielder or winger for Emirati club Al-Nasr and the Morocco national team.
