Josephine Janson (born 16 September 1991) is a retired Swedish professional golfer who played on the Ladies European Tour. She won the 2008 European Girls' Team and the 2011 European Ladies' Team championships, and the Borås Ladies Open on the 2016 LET Access Series. Career Janson played for the National Team. She won the 2008 European Girls' Team Championship at Murcar Links Golf Club in Scotland with Louise Larsson, Amanda Sträng and Johanna Tillström, and was runner-up behind Ireland at the 2009 event in Finland with Emma Nilsson, Emma Lundström and Johanna Tillström. In 2011 she won the European Ladies' Team Championship at Murhof Golf Club in Austria together with Nathalie Månsson, Amanda Sträng, Johanna Tillström, Madelene Sagström and Daniela Holmqvist. The 2013 European Ladies' Team Championship took place 9–13 July at Fulford Golf Club in Fulford, England. It was the 30th women's golf amateur European Ladies' Team Championship. Venue The hosting Fulford Golf Club was founded in 1906. The golf course, located 2 kilometers (approximately 1 mile) south of York, North Yorkshire, England, United Kingdom, was designed by Charles MacKenzie, brother of well known golf course architect Alister MacKenzie, and opened in 1935. Fulford had previously been home to several European Tour events, including the Benson and Hedges International Open between 1971 and 1989. In 1976 the club hosted the inaugural Women's British Open. Sarah Nilsson (born 24 July 1997) is a Swedish professional golfer. She won the Swedish Golf Tour Order of Merit in 2017 was a Ladies European Tour (LET) rookie in 2018. Personal life Nilsson's sister Emma (three years older) is also a professional golfer on the Ladies European Tour. Both sisters played in the inaugural Saint-Malo Golf Mixed Open in 2019, the first professional event to see female and male golfers from two tours play for the same trophy, with their parents caddying for them.
