Joseph Antoine Soueif ( ar, يوسف انطوان سويف; born 14 July 1962) is a Lebanese clergyman serving as the Maronite Archbishop of Tripoli. He previously served as the bishop of the Maronite Catholic Archeparchy of Cyprus. Life Joseph Soueif was born in the Lebanese town of Chekka, nnuario Pontificio (en italiano). Boutros Gemayel
Boutros Gemayel (29 June 1932 – 21 August 2021) was an emeritus Maronite Archbishop of the Maronite Catholic Archeparchy of Cyprus. Life Boutros Gemayel received on 12 April 1959 the sacrament of ordination to the priesthood. On 11 June 1988 he was appointed by Pope John Paul II as Archbishop of Archeparchy of Cyprus with headquarters in Nicosia. Georges Bou-Jaoudé, CM (27 December 1943 – 28 March 2022) was a Maronite Catholic hierarch, who served as archbishop of the Maronite Catholic Archeparchy of Tripoli in Lebanon. This is a list of the Maronite patriarchs of Antioch and all the East, the primate of the Maronite Church, one of the Eastern Catholic Churches. Starting with Paul Peter Massad in 1854, after becoming patriarch of the Maronite Catholic Patriarchate of Antioch, they assume the name "Peter" (Boutros in Arabic, بطرس ), after the traditional first Bishop of Antioch, St. Peter, who was also the head of the Apostles. The Pontifical Oriental Institute, also known as the Orientale, is a Catholic institution of higher education located in Rome and focusing on Eastern Christianity.
