Joseph R. Malone III (born October 1, 1949) is an American Republican Party politician who served in the New Jersey General Assembly from 1993 until 2012, representing the 30th Legislative District and is a long-time mayor of the City of Bordentown. New Jersey's 30th Legislative District is one of 40 districts that make up the map for the New Jersey Legislature. It covers the Monmouth County municipalities of Avon-by-the-Sea, Belmar, Bradley Beach, Brielle, Farmingdale, Howell Township, Lake Como, Manasquan, Sea Girt, Spring Lake, Spring Lake Heights, and Wall Township and the Ocean County municipalities of Lakewood Township and Point Pleasant. David P. Rible (born August 28, 1967) is an American Republican Party politician, who has served as Director of the New Jersey Division of Alcoholic Beverage Control since July 2017. He had previously served in the New Jersey General Assembly representing the 30th Legislative District from January 10, 2012 until July 17, 2017, when he was appointed as Director of the ABC. New Jersey Senate
The New Jersey Senate was established as the upper house of the New Jersey Legislature by the Constitution of 1844, replacing the Legislative Council. There are 40 legislative districts, representing districts with an average population of 232,225 (2020 figure). Each district has one senator and two members of the New Jersey General Assembly, the lower house of the legislature. Prior to the election in which they are chosen, senators must be a minimum of 30 years old and a resident of the state for four years to be eligible to serve in office.
