Joseph Price (footballer)
Joseph Price was an amateur footballer who played as a full-back for Southampton St. Mary's in the 1890s. Football career Price started his career playing for Geneva Cross, a team from the Royal Victoria Military Hospital at Netley. In January 1891, Geneva Cross played St. Mary's in the Second Round of the Hampshire Senior Cup, losing 5–0. Despite the loss, Price was shortly afterwards recruited by St. Mary's on amateur terms. Described as a "hard-tackling full-back" with "speed and finesse", his departure from the Geneva Cross team was not popular with their supporters. Price made his competitive debut for St. Mary's on 17 December 1892 in a Hampshire Senior Cup match against a team from the Royal Engineers; the team went on to reach the final where they lost 2–1 to Freemantle Freemantle is a suburb and electoral ward in Southampton, England. Howard Joseph Price (20 September 1928 – 30 October 1992) was a Welsh cricketer. Price made his debut in minor counties cricket for Lincolnshire against the Yorkshire Second XI in the 1960 Minor Counties Championship. He played minor counties cricket for Lincolnshire until 1975, making a total of 87 appearances in the Minor Counties Championship. During this time he played two List A matches for Lincolnshire. Joseph Price (born 5 May 1945, Brunette Island) is a Canadian politician who was a Progressive Conservative party member of the House of Commons of Canada. He was an educational administrator and teacher by career. He was elected at Newfoundland's Burin—St. George's electoral district in the 1984 federal election, thus he served in the 33rd Canadian Parliament. A membrane oxygenator is a device used to add oxygen to, and remove carbon dioxide from the blood.
