Joseph Linden Fitzclarence Hamilton (born in Guyana) is a Guyanese politician. Hamilton was born in Triumph, British Guiana. Between 1977 and 1987, Hamilton was a priest of the House of Israel. The People's National Congress Reform is a social-democratic and democratic socialist political party in Guyana led by Aubrey Norton. The party currently holds 31 of the 65 seats in the National Assembly. Mohamed Irfaan Ali (born 25 April 1980) is a Guyanese politician who has served as the tenth and current president of Guyana since 2020. Walter Anthony Rodney (23 March 1942 – 13 June 1980) was a Guyanese historian, political activist and academic. Religion is an important aspect of identity and society in Guyana. In 2012 the population was 63% Christian, 25% Hindu, 7% Muslim.
