Josef Stroh
Josef "Pepi" Stroh (5 March 1913 – 7 January 1991) was an Austrian footballer and football manager. He played club football mainly with FK Austria Wien. International career He was part of Austria’s team for the 1934 FIFA World Cup but he didn’t play any match. With Austria national football team, he was also part of the squad for the 1948 but he didn’t play Austria only match in the tournament, a 3-0 defeat against Sweden national football team. He also played for the Germany national football team. and was part of the German squad for the 1938 FIFA World Cup He played one match, the lost replay against Switzerland, as Germany were knocked out in the first round. Sandvikens IF is a Swedish football club located in Sandviken. The club, formed 6 June 1918, has played 21 seasons in the highest Swedish league, but is in the third highest Swedish league, Division 1. Sandvikens IF are affiliated to the Gestriklands Fotbollförbund. As Sandviken is an industrial community, dominated by the steel and metal corporation Sandvik, the team has been much influenced by this. The 1938 FIFA World Cup was the third edition of the World Cup, the quadrennial international football championship for senior men's national teams and was held in France from 4 June until 19 June 1938. Italy defended its title in the final, beating Hungary 4–2. Italy's 1934 and 1938 teams hold the distinction of being the only men's national team to win the World Cup multiple times under the same coach, Vittorio Pozzo.
