Josef Krečmer
Josef Krečmer (born in 1958 in Vysoké Mýto, Czech Republic) is a Czech violoncellist. Career Krečmer graduated at the conservatories in Teplice and Prague (professors Mirko Škampa and Josef Chuchro) and Academy of Performing Arts in Prague (professors Saša Večtomov and Miloš Sádlo). During his studies he participated in the masterclasses of Erki Rautio and Natalia Shakhovskaya. Since 1979 he is a teacher at the Conservatory in Pardubice, between 1989 and 1991 he worked for the ''Yehudi Menuhin Foundation'' in Paris where he helped to organize the performances of many young Czech musicians in France. In 1991–2003 he was the leader of the Chamber Philharmonic Orchestra in Pardubice and he makes CD recordings, as well as those for Český rozhlas and the Czech Television. Vysoké Mýto
Vysoké Mýto (; german: Hohenmaut, also ''Hohenmauth'') is a town in Ústí nad Orlicí District in the Pardubice Region of the Czech Republic. It has about 12,000 inhabitants. Its town square is the largest example of its type in the country. The historic town centre is well preserved and is protected by law as an Cultural monument (Czech Republic)#Monument zones, urban monument zone. Prague Spring International Music Festival
The Prague Spring International Music Festival ( cs, Mezinárodní hudební festival Pražské jaro, commonly cs, Pražské jaro, Prague Spring) is a classical music festival held every year in Prague, Czech Republic, with symphony orchestras and chamber music ensembles from around the world. The first festival was held in 1946 under the patronage of Czechoslovak president Edvard Beneš, and its organizing committee was made up of important figures in Czech musical life. In that year, the Czech Philharmonic Orchestra was celebrating its fiftieth anniversary and was therefore granted to appear in all of the orchestral concerts. Iva Kramperová
Iva Kramperová (born 1984) is a Czech violinist. Iva Kramperová studied at the Music Faculty of Academy of Performing Arts in Prague (Prof. Ivan Straus, Leos Cepicky), she has participated in several master classes in the Czech Republic (Václav Hudeček) and abroad (France - Régis Pasquier). She is the concert master and soloist of Barocco sempre giovane. With this ensemble she has performed at hundreds of concerts (including of Prague Spring International Music Festival) for example for Office of the President of the Czech Republic. She makes recordings for the Czech Radio and the Czech Television. She cooperates with soloists (Václav Hudeček, Ivan Ženatý, Jiri Stivin, Barbara Maria Willi, Václav Rabas, Radek Baborak) and orchestras. Barocco Sempre Giovane
Barocco sempre giovane is a professional Czech chamber orchestra. Barocco sempre giovane (Baroque forever young) was founded in 2004 by a violoncellist Josef Krečmer. It is a chamber ensemble consisting of young musicians, standing organist and harpsichordist is Pavel Svoboda, concert master is Iva Kramperová. It makes CD recordings, performs on Czech television and cooperates regularly with Czech Radio. The young performers focus primarily on the music of the European baroque and classical masters, as well as the contemporary music (Luboš Sluka, Slavomír Hořínka, Vít Zouhar).
