Joseba Sarrionandia
Joseba Sarrionandia Uribelarrea (Iurreta, Biscay, April 13, 1958) is a Basque writer who has published a large number of books of poetry and short stories, as well as novels. He has been awarded on numerous occasions for his work, and is nowadays a respected literary personality in the Basque Country. In the early 80s, he was member of the Basque separatist group ETA. In 1985 he escaped from prison and since then he lived underground for decades while continuing to create and publish. In November 2016, it was revealed that he lives in Cuba, where he holds a position as lecturer at the University of Havana. Biography He earned a Basque Philology PhD from the University of Deusto, Bilbao and started working as a Basque language teacher. He taught phonetics in the Bergara center of the UNED and also in the Udako Euskal Unibertsitatea and wrote pieces for ''Zeruko Argia'', '' Anaitasuna'', '' Jakin'' and '' Oh Euzkadi'' magazines. ''Argia'' is a weekly news magazine published in the Basque language, the oldest one still in circulation. Their main office is in Lasarte-Oria, Basque Country. Its name was ''Zeruko Argia'' from 1919 to 1921 and from 1963 to 1980, and ''Argia'' from 1921 to 1936 and from 1980 to present. It had to cease its activity because of the Spanish Civil War in 1936, and it could not be published again until 1963, when Francoist Spain lifted its ban on Basque-language publications. Fermin (also Firmin, from Latin ''Firminus''; Spanish ''Fermín'') was a legendary holy man and martyr, traditionally venerated as the co-patron saint of Navarre, Spain. Although he is said to have lived in the third century, Fermin's legend is a creation of the ninth century. The Rime Of The Ancient Mariner
''The Rime of the Ancient Mariner'' (originally ''The Rime of the Ancyent Marinere'') is the longest major poem by the English poet Samuel Taylor Coleridge, written in 1797–1798 and published in 1798 in the first edition of ''Lyrical Ballads''. Some modern editions use a revised version printed in 1817 that featured a gloss. Along with other poems in ''Lyrical Ballads'', it is often considered a signal shift to modern poetry and the beginning of British Romantic literature. Samuel Taylor Coleridge (; 21 October 177225 July 1834) was an English poet, literary critic, philosopher, and theologian who, with his friend William Wordsworth, was a founder of the Romantic Movement in England and a member of the Lake Poets. He also shared volumes and collaborated with Charles Lamb, Robert Southey, and Charles Lloyd. He wrote the poems ''The Rime of the Ancient Mariner'' and ''Kubla Khan'', as well as the major prose work ''Biographia Literaria''. His critical work, especially on William Shakespeare, was highly influential, and he helped introduce German idealist philosophy to English-speaking cultures.
