Jorit Agoch
Jorit Ciro Cerullo (born 24 November 1990), professionally known as Jorit, is an Italian street artist. Biography Jorit was born in Naples of mixed descent, his father, Luigi Cerullo, being a Neapolitan, his mother Jeannina, Dutch. He grew up in Quarto, on the northern perimeter of the city. After studying at the scientific lyceum ''Galileo Galilei'' in Naples, he attended the Neapolitan Academy of Fine Arts, obtaining a first class degree. His interest in street art began when he was 13 years old. Jorit has defined his approach as one of picking out ordinary faces from the working class to embody famous people, in the style of Caravaggio. Thus, his depiction at of San Gennaro, the patron saint of Naples, draws on features of a 35-year-old friend who is a factory worker. In the murals made by Jorit there are "hidden" writings, words and phrases that often expand the meaning of the works. Ahed Tamimi
Ahed Tamimi ( ar, عهد التميمي, ‘Ahad at-Tamīmī, also romanized ''Ahd''; born 31 January 2001) is a Palestinian activist from the village of Nabi Salih in the occupied West Bank in Palestine. She is best known for appearances in images and videos in which she confronts Israeli soldiers. Tamimi's advocates consider her a freedom fighter for Palestine, comparing her to Malala Yousafzai; her detractors argue she is manipulated by political parents and has been taught to engage with violence. In December 2017, she was detained by Israeli authorities for slapping a soldier. The incident was filmed and went viral, attracting international interest and debate. Tamimi was sentenced to eight months in prison after agreeing to a plea bargain and released on 29 July 2018. Ma'an News Agency (MNA; ar, وكالة معا الإخبارية) is a large wire service created in 2005 in the Palestinian territories. It is part of the Ma'an Network, a non-governmental organization media network created in 2002 in the Palestinian territories among independent journalists throughout the West Bank and Gaza Strip. It has partnerships with eight local television stations and twelve local radio stations. Ma'an News Agency publishes news 24 hours a day in Arabic, Hebrew and English, and claims to be one of the largest wire services in the Palestinian territories, with over three million visits per month. Ma'an News Agency also publishes feature stories, analysis and opinion articles. The agency's headquarters are based in Bethlehem and it has an office in Gaza.
