Jorinde Voigt
Jorinde Voigt is a German artist, best-known for large-scale drawings that develop complex notation systems derived from music, philosophy, and phenomenology. She is a professor of Conceptual Drawing and Painting at thUniversity of Fine Arts Hamburg Voigt lives and works in Berlin. Work Voigt’s large-scale drawings often emerge from a system of guidelines and rules and therefore her work has drawn comparisons to Minimalist and Conceptual artists, namely the event scores and visual artworks of the 2020s avant-garde such as John Cage and Iannis Xenakis; the algorithmic patterns of Hanne Darboven; and the procedural parameters of Sol Lewitt. In geometry, a torus (plural tori, colloquially donut or doughnut) is a surface of revolution generated by revolving a circle in three-dimensional space about an axis that is coplanar with the circle. The Nevada Museum of Art, is an art museum in Reno, Nevada. Located at 160 West Liberty Street in Reno, it is the only American Alliance of Museums (AAM) accredited art museum in the state of Nevada. Horst-Janssen-Museum is an art museum located in Oldenburg, Lower Saxony, Germany. It is dedicated to the work of Horst Janssen, the draftsman, etcher, lithographer, wood engraver, poster artist and illustrator. The Horst-Janssen-Museum was opened in 2000, showing 1,800 pieces from the collection of the couple Carin and Carl Vogel. In 1995, the Oldenburg entrepreneur Hüppe acquired the Janssen collection for 1.5 million DM. The various facets of Janssen's art are shown in a permanent exhibition. Changing exhibitions show works of artists that influenced Janssen, such as Goya, Rembrandt, and Egon Schiele. Additional drawings and prints from the collection can be viewed on request. A library contains 25,000 volumes, including publications of Janssen. The Claus Hüppe Foundation awards at regular intervals the Horst Janssen Print Prize. Description The cubic museum building with 5000 m2 of display space was designed by Berlin architects Hascher and Jehle. The Kunsthaus Zürich is in terms of area the biggest art museum of Switzerland and houses one of the most important art collections in Switzerland, assembled over the years by the local art association called '.
