Jorge Franco (writer)
Jorge Franco Ramos (born 1962 in Medellín) is a Colombian writer, known primarily for his novel ''Rosario Tijeras,'' which has been adapted for film and television. Biography Son of Olga Stella Ramos and Humberto Franco, married with Natalia Echavarria and has a daughter named Valeria Franco. Jorge Franco Ramos studied film at the London Film School and literature at the Pontificia Universidad Javeriana in Bogotá, but did not finish his studies. He began his writing career in 1991 and obtained his first award, the Pedro Gómez Valderrama, in 1996 for the short story collection ''Maldito amor'' (Cursed love). His first novel, ''Mala noche'' (Bad night), won the national ''Ciudad de Pereira'' competition of 1997. Juan Fernando Fonseca (born 29 May 1979) is a Colombian singer. Born in Bogotá, he chose music at an early age, studying music formally at institutions such as Javeriana University in Bogota and Berklee College of Music in Boston. Fonseca's self-titled debut gained him considerable attention in Colombia. His second album released Corazón (2005) explored the crossroads where pop/rock influences meet the vallenato, bullerengue, and tambora. Gratitud followed in 2008, with Ilusión arriving in 2011. Fonseca recorded Sinfónico in concert with Orquesta Sinfónica Nacional de Colombia in 2013. Released a year later. History ''Semana'' was founded in 1946 by Alberto Lleras Camargo (who would become president of Colombia in 1958) and that folded in 1961. It was relaunched by journalist Felipe López Caballero in 1983. Development , the person who restarted the magazine, took two earlier Colombian magazines as models.
