Ben Jonson
Benjamin "Ben" Jonson (c. 11 June 1572 – c. 16 August 1637) was an English playwright and poet. Jonson's artistry exerted a lasting influence upon English poetry and stage comedy. He popularised the comedy of humours; he is best known for the satirical plays ''Every Man in His Humour'' (1598), '' Volpone, or The Fox'' (c. 1606), '' The Alchemist'' (1610) and '' Bartholomew Fair'' (1614) and for his lyric and epigrammatic poetry. "He is generally regarded as the second most important English dramatist, after William Shakespeare, during the reign of James I." Raymond Jonson
Raymond Jonson (July 18, 1891 – May 10, 1982), was an American-born Modernist painter known for his paintings of the American Southwest. Born Carl Raymond Johnson, he originally signed his paintings C. Raymond Johnson, but later used Raymond Jonson, dropping the first initial and reverting to a more traditional spelling of his last name. Jonson organized modernist exhibitions at the Museum of New Mexico. He established the Atalaya Art School, teaching art classes, and founded the Transcendental Painting Group in 1938. Raymond Jonson established the Jonson Gallery at the University of New Mexico in 1950. The gallery later moved to the University of New Mexico Art Museum. Biography C. Halvar Jonson
Halvar de la Cluyse Jonson (August 14, 1941 – December 2, 2016) was a teacher and high school principal. He was also a long serving provincial politician from Alberta, Canada. He served as a member of the Legislative Assembly of Alberta and cabinet minister in the provincial government from 1982 until 2004. Early life Jonson was born in Athabasca, Alberta, Canada on August 14, 1941. He served as president of the Alberta Teachers' Association from 1976 until 1977. Political career Jonson was first elected to the Alberta Legislature in the 1982 Alberta general election. He defeated Tom Butterfield from the Western Canada Concept and three other candidates to win his first term in office. His win held the Ponoka electoral district for the Progressive Conservatives. Due to redistribution of electoral district boundaries in the 1986 Alberta general election Ponoka was abolished and re-created as Ponoka-Rimbey. Mattias Jonson
Olof Mattias Jonsson (; born 16 January 1974) is a Swedish former professional footballer who played as a winger. Starting off his career with Örebro SK in the early 1990s, he went on to represent Helsingborgs IF, Brøndby IF, and Norwich City before retiring at Djurgårdens IF in 2011. A full international between 1996 and 2006, he won 57 caps and scored nine goals for the Sweden national team. He represented his country at the 2002 FIFA World Cup, UEFA Euro 2004, and the 2006 FIFA World Cup. Fredric Jonson (born 15 July 1987) is a former Swedish footballer who played as a defender. Career Jonson began his professional career in 2005 with Swedish club IFK Sollentuna appearing in 24 matches and scoring 3 goals. In 2006, he was transferred to Vasalund/Essinge IF which then played in Division 1. Prior to joining Vasalund he had a trial spell with Benfica. With his new club he quickly established himself as a starter, initially playing primarily at right back, and later converting to center back. In 2009, he appeared in 29 matches, playing a full 90 in all appearances. With Vasalund/Essinge IF and Vasalunds IF he appeared in 86 league matches, scoring 2 goals.
