Jonny Gould
Jonny Gould is a British media presenter, sports journalist, and political commentator. He has formerly broadcast on Sky News, Smooth Radio (2010), Smooth Radio, and Talksport among others. Gould has commented on antisemitism, conservative politics, and the state of Israel across a number of outlets including his own ''Jonny Gould’s Jewish State'' podcast. Career Gould started his career as a sports reporter for BBC Radio WM in 1986 before joining Beacon Radio in 1988. From 1990 to 1993, Gould presented BBC World Service's ''Sports Roundup'' and ''Sports World''. Between 1992 and 1995 Gould provided sports news for Independent Radio News as sports editor. He also co-presented the Thursday Night Sports Phone-In with Robbie Vincent between 1990 and 1994. Smooth Radio (2010)
From 2010 to 2014, Smooth Radio was an independent, commercial, national radio station in the United Kingdom. Owned by Real and Smootha company formerly known as GMG Radiothe station was aimed at the over-40 demographic, and competed for its audience with BBC Radio 2. It was broadcast on the DAB Digital Radio Digital 1 national multiplex, Sky, Freesat, Freeview, Virgin Media, online and on regional FM and DAB frequencies in the North West, London, North East, West Midlands, Scotland and East Midlands. Nationally the station attracted a weekly average audience of 3 million. The station opened in 1990 as 102.2 Jazz FM in London, and a second Jazz FM branded station was launched four years later in Manchester. The Goal Rush
''The Goal Rush'' was a live ITV television programme that aired from 2001 to 2003, produced by Granada Television. The programme was broadcast on Saturdays as a rival show to Final Score on BBC One, and provided live football scores from the Premier League and The Football League. Coverage began on ITV2 and then continued on ITV1. The programme was presented by Angus Scott. ITV ran the programme during the two of the three seasons that it held the rights to show Premier League highlights. After the rights were lost, ''The Goal Rush'' was axed. Format The Goal Rush was announced in 2000 by Brian Barwick, ITV Controller of Sport. The programme was a replacement for ''Football First'' which had aired exclusively on ITV2 since its launch in late 1998.
