Jonna Pirinen
Jonna Christensen (née Pirinen, born 28 December 1982), better known by her stage name Jonna, is a pop and R&B singer/songwriter from Finland. She has released three albums, over ten singles and several music videos. She became known in 2002 for her participation to the Finnish edition of talent scouting show Popstars, where she was selected as fourth member of the girls' group Gimmel. However, after less than a month she quit from the group and embarked on a solo career. Jonna was successful in her solo career, but wanted to start singing in English but her record label Sony BMG did not support her proposal to now focus on English-language songs. As a result, the contract ended. Jonna decided to move to Los Angeles to start working on her English-language album and find new influences for her music. Lord Est is a Finnish dancehall reggae duo from Tampere made up of Tuomo Hiironmäki on vocals and his brother Uncle Tan on keyboards. In general, Tuomo writes the lyrics and Uncle Tan (earlier known as D Mon) composes the music. Lord Est has released 5 albums and many singles. They are also known for their cooperation with other artists and musical projects. Tuomo Hiironmäki started in the 1990s as a rapper and a part of Finnish hiphop group Ghetto Blasta. His graffiti tag was Est, hence the name. The title Lord was invented by his friend from Ghetto Blasta, Big Jay (nowadays manager of the group). Ghetto Blasta broke up and Lord Est became more interested in new dancehall trend by Radio Mafia's late-night show ''Roots & Culture'', hosted by Tero Kaski. The group was formed in 1997 by Anders "Andu" Westerholm, Markku "Tasis" Wettenranta and Dan "Uniikki" Tolppanen. The cheeks ( la, buccae) constitute the area of the face below the eyes and between the nose and the left or right ear. "Buccal" means relating to the cheek. In humans, the region is innervated by the buccal nerve.
