Joni Waka
Joni Waka is a Ghanaian movie directed and written by Van Vicker in 2012. The movie was Van Vicker's first movie in Twi. Synopsis Joni Waka goes back to his village because he has made a discovery about his homeland. He had a plan and just how to get it was a bit stressful but his unofficial guide Paa Nii who is the village eye, gets things complicated. Meanwhile the innkeeper's wife expresses her affection for Joni and bully's any lady who gets closer to Joni. Joni also was the love of many women in the village. Van Vicker
Joseph van Vicker (born 1 August 1977), better known as Van Vicker, is a Ghanaian actor, movie director and humanitarian. He is the chief executive officer of Sky + Orange production, a film production house. Van Vicker received two nominations for "Best Actor in a Leading Role" and "Best Upcoming Actor" at the Africa Movie Academy Awards in 2008. Early life Vicker was born in Accra, Ghana on to a Ghanaian- Liberian mother and a Dutch father. His father died when he was six years old. Vicker attended Mfantsipim School, along with fellow actor Majid Michel. He graduated from African University College of Communications in 2021. Kofi Adu (born May 25, 1969),is originally from the Ashanti Region of Ghana but lived in a suburb in Accra Newtown called Asantewaa, also known as Agya Koo, is an actor and comedian from Ghana. He has appeared in over 200 Ghanaian movies including ''Obaatanpa'', ''Away Bus'', ''Black Star'', and ''Ma Tricki Wo''. Career Adu is originally from the Ashanti Region of Ghana, but lived in a suburb in Accra Newtown called Asantewaa. He worked as a cobbler. Nikoletta Samonas (born 5 September 1985) is a Ghanaian and Greek actress and a freelance model. She is known as Nikki Samonas in the entertainment industry and has had roles in a number of feature films. She is an alumna of both Holy Child High School and the Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology.
