Joni Montiel
Jonathan "Joni" Montiel Caballero (born 3 September 1998) is a Spanish professional footballer who plays as a midfielder for Levante UD, on loan from Rayo Vallecano. Club career Montiel was born in El Pozo del Tío Raimundo, Puente de Vallecas, Madrid. He joined Rayo Vallecano's youth setup in 2010 at the age of 11. He made his senior debut on 25 October 2015, starting with the reserves in a 1–1 Tercera División home draw against Fútbol Alcobendas Sport. Montiel was first included in a first team matchday squad at the age of 17, remaining an unused substitute in Rayo Vallecano's 3–1 loss at neighbours Getafe CF in the last 32 second leg of the season's Copa del Rey, advancing on the away goals rule. Substitute (association Football)
In association football, a substitute is a player who is brought on to the pitch during a match in exchange for an existing player. Substitutions are generally made to replace a player who has become tired or injured, or who is performing poorly, or for tactical reasons (such as bringing a striker on in place of a defender). A player who has been substituted during a match takes no further part in the game, in games played under the standard International Football Association Board Laws of the Game. Substitutions were officially added to the Laws of the Game in 1958. Prior to this most games were played with no changes permitted at all, with occasional exceptions in cases of extreme injury or players not arriving to matches on time. Segunda División B
Segunda División B ( en, Second Division B) was the third tier of the Spanish football league system containing 102 teams divided into five groups, until it was replaced by the new structure in 2021. It was administered by the Royal Spanish Football Federation. It was below the top two professional leagues, the ''Primera División'' (also known as La Liga) and the '' Segunda División'', and above the ''Tercera División''. José Ramón Sandoval
José Ramón Sandoval Huertas (born 2 May 1968) is a Spanish football manager. Football career After coaching several amateur teams in the Community of Madrid, whilst also working as a cook in his family business, Madrid-born Sandoval joined Rayo Vallecano B in early 2007, taking the club to runner-up honours in the Copa Federación de España the following year and achieving promotion to Segunda División B for the first time in its history in 2010. For the 2010–11 season he was appointed manager of the first team, helping them return to La Liga after an absence of eight years and being awarded the Miguel Muñoz Trophy as best manager in Segunda División in the process. Isaac Gómez Sánchez (born 28 October 1995), commonly known as Isi, is a Spanish footballer who plays as a midfielder for Deportivo de La Coruña. Club career Born in Madrid, Isi played in local Rayo Vallecano's every youth team. He was promoted to the under-19 side for the 2012–13 season. On 17 March 2013, without even having appeared for the reserves, Isi was called up by first-team manager Paco Jémez for a La Liga away game against FC Barcelona, starting on the bench and being assigned number 39: with the game at 3–1 for the hosts he entered the field in the 85th minute, thus becoming the club's youngest player ever to appear in an official match at the age of 17 years and 140 days. José Eduardo Rosa Vale de Castro (born 13 January 1983), commonly known as Zé Castro, is a Portuguese former footballer who played as a central defender. Away Goals Rule
The away goals rule is a method of tiebreaking in association football and other sports when teams play each other twice, once at each team's home ground. Under the away goals rule, if the total goals scored by each team are equal, the team that has scored more goals " away from home" wins. This is sometimes expressed by saying that away goals "count double" in the event of a tie, though in practice the team with more away goals is simply recorded as the victor, rather than having additional or 'double' goals added to their total. The away goals rule is most often invoked in two-leg fixtures, where the initial result is determined by the aggregate score — i.e. the scores of both games are added together.
