Jonathan Hales
Jonathan Hales (born 10 May 1937) is a British playwright and screenwriter. He is noted for his work with Lucasfilm, including ''The Young Indiana Jones Chronicles'' television series and '' Star Wars: Episode II – Attack of the Clones''. Career Hales has worked extensively in the theatre (both as actor and stage director), film and television. He began his screenwriting career in 1970, with the British television series '' Manhunt''. Hales has written for the American series ''Dallas'', as well as many iterations — series and DVD releases — of ''The Adventures of Young Indiana Jones''. In 1977 he directed the stage play ''Mecca'' by E. A. Whitehead at the Open Space Theatre, London. Hales wrote the 1980 Agatha Christie film ''The Mirror Crack'd''. Jim Goddard
Jim Goddard (2 February 1936 – 17 June 2013) was an English film and TV director who was born in Battersea, London. He directed episodes of many UK TV series such as ''Public Eye'', ''Callan'', ''Special Branch'', ''The Sweeney'', ''The Ruth Rendell Mysteries'', ''The Bell'' and ''Holby City''. Mike Newell (director)
Michael Cormac Newell (born 28 March 1942) is an English film and television director and producer. He won the BAFTA for Best Direction for ''Four Weddings and a Funeral'' (1994), which also won the BAFTA Award for Best Film, and directed the films '' Donnie Brasco'' (1997) and '' Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire'' (2005). Early life Newell was born in St Albans, Hertfordshire, as the son of amateur actors, and was educated at St Albans School. He read English at Magdalene College, Cambridge. He then attended a three-year training course at Granada Television with the intention of entering the theatre. Robert Tronson
Robert Tronson (18 May 1924 – 27 November 2008) was an English film and television director, born in Chilmark, Wiltshire. Educated at Churcher's College in Hampshire, followed by the Royal Naval College, Dartmouth, he served with the Royal Navy from 1941. After leaving the service at the end of the Second World War he determined to become a writer, but soon joined the BBC, where he produced children's television programmes. In 1955 he joined Associated-Rediffusion, and by the end of the decade he was working on television drama serials. From the 1960s onwards he worked as a freelance director in a career spanning almost 50 years. His final television credits were for directing five episodes of ''Hetty Wainthropp Investigates'' for the BBC, between 1996 and 1998. In 1965 Tronson married Nona Richards (died 1987). ''High Road to China'' (a.k.a. ''Raiders of the End of the World'') is a 1983 American adventure-romance film set in the 1920s starring Tom Selleck in his first major starring role, playing a hard-drinking biplane pilot hired by society heiress Eve "Evie" Tozer (Bess Armstrong) to find her missing father (Wilford Brimley).
