Jonathan Dixon (British Actor)
Jonathan Dixon (born 10 August 1988), known professionally as Jonny Dixon, is a British television actor, best known for playing playground bully Matthew "Mooey" Humphries in long-running CBBC (TV channel), CBBC show ''Grange Hill''. He appeared in Manchester-based soap opera ''Coronation Street'' as Darryl Morton. He joined the soap in March 2007. Dixon was born in Pudsey. He was a friend of Jack P. Shepherd who plays his on-screen friend David Platt (Coronation Street), David Platt before getting his role in ''Coronation Street''. It was reported on 15 May 2009 that Dixon and co-star Wanda Opalinska would be written out of the soap and would be departing later in the year with it being said that this was due to "natural storyline progression." ''Doctors'' is a British medical soap opera, first broadcast on BBC One on 26 March 2000. Set in the fictional West Midlands town of Letherbridge, the soap follows the lives of the staff of both an NHS doctor's surgery and a university campus surgery, as well as the lives of their families and friends. Initially, only 41 episodes of the programme were ordered, but due to the positive reception, the BBC ordered it as a continuing soap opera. ''Doctors'' was filmed at the Pebble Mill Studios until 2004; production then relocated to the BBC Drama Village. Episodes are filmed three months prior to transmission. Mark Wingett
Mark Christopher Wingett (born 1 January 1961) is an English actor. He is best known for his roles as PC/DC Jim Carver in ''The Bill'' and ''EastEnders'' as Mike Swann, ''Hollyoaks'' as Frank Symons and '' Heartbeat'' as Terry Molloy. His first screen role was in the 1967 film ''To Sir, with Love'' as a school pupil. Acting career Wingett was born in Melton Mowbray, Leicestershire. His father was an officer in the Royal Navy, and the family moved to wherever he was stationed, including Malta and Singapore, but mostly in Portsmouth. Ian Gelder (born 3 June 1949) is a British actor. He is known for his numerous stage and screen roles, including Mr Dekker in '' Torchwood: Children of Earth'' and Kevan Lannister in ''Game of Thrones''.
