Jonathan Boutin
Jonathan Boutin (born March 28, 1985) is a Canadian-German professional ice hockey goaltender. He is currently playing for German DEL2 club, EC Bad Nauheim. He was originally drafted in the third round, 96th overall, by the Tampa Bay Lightning in the 2003 NHL Entry Draft. Boutin was born in Granby, Quebec, and was granted German citizenship in May 2016. Playing career QMJHL Between 2001-2005 Boutin played for Halifax Mooseheads, PEI Rocket, and Quebec Ramparts, all of the QMJHL. In 130 regular season games, Boutin went 58-43-7 with a 3.03 GAA. He also accumulated 31 penalty minutes during his time in the QMJHL. Boutin also played in 62 playoff games. Boutin assisted on two goals during his time in junior hockey. His only regular season assist came as a member of the Halifax Mooseheads, and his lone postseason assist came during his final season of juniors as a member of the Quebec Remparts. Granby is a town in southwestern Quebec, located east of Montreal. The population as of the Canada 2021 Census was 69,025. Granby is the seat of La Haute-Yamaska Regional County Municipality. PEI Rocket
The Charlottetown Islanders are a junior ice hockey team in the Quebec Major Junior Hockey League (QMJHL). Based in Charlottetown, Prince Edward Island, Canada, the Islanders play their home games at the Eastlink Centre, which has 3,717 arena seats. History Originally located in Montreal, Quebec, and called the Montreal Rocket, the team relocated to Charlottetown, Prince Edward Island, in 2003. They were named after the legendary Maurice Richard (known as the Rocket) of the Montreal Canadiens, and their team crest depicted his number, 9. The Deutsche Eishockey Liga (for sponsorship reasons called "PENNY Deutsche Eishockey Liga") (; English: ''German Ice Hockey League'') or DEL, is a German professional ice hockey league and the highest division in German ice hockey. EHC Freiburg
EHC Freiburg, is a professional ice hockey team based in Freiburg im Breisgau, Germany. They play in the DEL 2, the second-highest level of ice hockey in Germany. History The club was created as EHC Freiburg in 1984. In 2003, they became champion of the 2nd Bundesliga and earned the right to play in the Deutsche Eishockey Liga in 2003–04 season. The Lausitzer Füchse (literally ''Lusatian Foxes'') is a professional ice hockey team based in Weißwasser, Saxony. They currently play in DEL2, the second level of ice hockey in Germany. Thomas Greiss
Thomas Greiss (born 29 January 1986) is a German professional ice hockey goaltender for the St. Louis Blues of the National Hockey League (NHL). Selected 94th overall in the third round of the 2004 NHL Entry Draft by the San Jose Sharks, he has also played for the Phoenix Coyotes, Pittsburgh Penguins, New York Islanders and Detroit Red Wings during his NHL career.
