Jonas Elmer (director)
Jonas Elmer (born 14 March 1966) is a Danish film director, screenwriter and previously an actor. In 1988 he was a production assistant at the set of ''Family Business'', starring Sean Connery. Elmer graduated in direction at the National Film School of Denmark in 1995. His debut as a director came with the Danish film '' Let's Get Lost'' which won him a Robert and Bodil Award for Best Danish Film. Since then, he has directed the Danish feature films ''Monas verden'' and '' Nynne''. He has also directed 21 episodes of the Danish sit-com '' Langt fra Las Vegas''. He directed his first American feature film in 2008, ''New in Town'', starring Renée Zellweger and Harry Connick, Jr, which was released in January 2009. In 2013 he directed the film ''In Real Life'', a production about human desire to have their unmet needs satisfied, and shows their passions, desperation and delusion. Virum
Virum is a mostly residential, suburban neighbourhood in Lyngby-Taarbæk Municipality, located on both sides of Lyngby Kongevej, approximately 15 km north of central Copenhagen, Denmark. The neighbourhood is bordered by Lake Furesø to the west, Holte in Rudersdal Municipality to the north, Brede to the east and Kongens Lyngby and Sorgenfri to the south. History The village of Virum is first mentioned in a papal letter from 1186 but is no doubt considerably older. The name "an open place which is easy to defend" ('' vigi'': "easily defendable place" and -rum: open place). In the letter, Pope Clement III gives the Virum as well as many other villages in the area tio to Bishop Absalon. Absalon soon ceded the villages to the Bishopric of Roskilde. International Filmfestival Mannheim-Heidelberg
The Mannheim-Heidelberg International Film Festival (german: Internationales Filmfestival Mannheim-Heidelberg), often referred to by the German-language initialism IFFMH, is an annual film festival established in 1952 hosted jointly by the cities of Mannheim and Heidelberg in Baden-Württemberg, the southwest region of Germany. The NatFilm Festival, staged annually across 16 cinemas in Copenhagen, in addition to several in Odense, Aalborg (replaced by Kolding in 2007) and Århus, shows the widest programme of films to the largest festival audience in Denmark. A film producer is a person who oversees film production. Either employed by a production company or working independently, producers plan and coordinate various aspects of film production, such as selecting the script, coordinating writing, directing, editing, and arranging financing.
