Johnson And Friends
''Johnson and Friends'' is an Australian live action/puppet children’s television program that originally aired on ABC from 3 September 1990 to 10 July 1997. It was produced by Film Australia and was created by Ron Saunders, John Patterson and Ian Munro. In the UK it was shown on TCC, CBBC, and then on UK Living's ''Tiny Living'' strand for under-fives. It was later aired in the United States with dubbed American voices as a part of The Fox Cubhouse, an educational children's anthology series on Fox Kids, between 1994 and early 1996. The series was last repeated on ABC1, with this run ending on 19 March 2002. The fourth series was produced in 1995 for Fox and was not aired in Australia until 1997. Ron Saunders (producer)
Ronald Victor Saunders is an Australian film and television producer, writer and director. He has worked in almost every genre of film and his career has spanned over 30 years. He is particularly known for specialising in children's television and for co-creating the successful Australian children's television series ''Johnson and Friends'', with Ian Munro (director) and John Patterson (writer) and later on, '' The Girl from Tomorrow'', '' Spellbinder'' and '' Magic Mountain''. Saunders was also instrumental in building race relations between Australia and China and he has been responsible for many co-productions between the two countries, including ''Magic Mountain'', '' Spellbinder: Land of the Dragon Lord'' and ''The Dragon Pearl''. ''Boffins'' (also referred to as ''The Boffins'') is an Australian children's television programme produced by Film Australia in 1993. It was created by John Patterson and Ian Munro, who also co-created ''Johnson and Friends''. The series was never broadcast or picked up by a network within Australia. The ABC initially wanted to show it as part of their schools programming, but this never happened for unknown reasons. The series did air internationally and was translated into several languages, and within Australia, it was later released on home video by the ABC in 1995. Reel Corporation is an independent Australian film distributor. Reel Corporation Australia established a joint venture sales company with Roadshow Entertainment called Reel DVD. History Reel Corporation distributes many films, children's programmes and television series. It also deals with independent studio film titles which would only receive limited releases in cinemas. Whereas Village Roadshow would release blockbusters and major films from studios such as Warner Bros. and New Line Cinema. Hot Water Bottle
A hot-water bottle is a bottle filled with hot water and sealed with a stopper, used to provide warmth, typically while in bed, but also for the application of heat to a specific part of the body. Early history Containers for warmth in bed were in use as early as the 16th century.
