Thorleifs was a Swedish dansband, formed in 1962 in Norrhult, Kronoberg County, Sweden and led by Thorleif Torstensson. The band sings in Swedish and many other languages, and released some albums in German. (; "dance band"), or in Norwegian and Danish, is a Swedish term for a band that plays ("dance band music"). ' is often danced to in pairs. Jitterbug and foxtrot music are often included in this category. The music is primarily inspired by swing, schlager, country, jazz, and rock. The main influence for rock-oriented bands is the rock music of the 1950s and 1960s. The terms ' and ' were coined around 1970, when Swedish popular music developed a signature style. Thorleif Torstensson (26 June 1949 – 10 January 2021) was a Swedish singer, saxophonist and guitarist. He was the lead singer of the danceband Thorleifs from its inception in 1962. Torstensson along with Thorleifs took part in Melodifestivalen 2009 with the song " Sweet Kissin' in the Moonlight". He took part as a celebrity contestant on Kändisdjungeln which was broadcast on TV4 in 2009. "Making Your Mind Up" is a song by the British pop group Bucks Fizz. It was the winner of the 1981 Eurovision Song Contest, representing the , and was composed by Andy Hill and John Danter.
