John V. Diener
John Vernon Diener (January 23, 1887 – May 29, 1937) was an American politician who served as mayor of Green Bay, Wisconsin. Biography Diener was born in Baraboo, Wisconsin, in 1887. He graduated from Notre Dame Law School before moving to Green Bay. Diener later practiced law with future U.S. Representative Thomas F. Konop. In 1914, Diener married Margaret Wigman. They had six children. During World War I, he served as an officer in the United States Army with the 119th Infantry Regiment of the 30th Infantry Division. Diener died in 1937. Green Bay is a city in the U.S. state of Wisconsin. The county seat of Brown County, it is at the head of Green Bay (known locally as "the bay of Green Bay"), a sub-basin of Lake Michigan, at the mouth of the Fox River. Baraboo is a city in the Midwest and the county seat of Sauk County, Wisconsin, United States. The largest city in the county, Baraboo is the principal city of the Baraboo Micropolitan Statistical Area. Its 2020 population was 12,556. It is situated on the Baraboo River.
