John Sharp (referee)
John "Sharpie" Sharp is an Australian mixed martial arts referee in the Ultimate Fighting Championship. One of the most experienced referees to emerge from Australia, Sharp has worked on UFC events since 2010 and officiated on the Asian series of The Ultimate Fighter. Early career Sharp first refereed at Cage Fighting Championship 8, in Sydney, Australia, in 2009 and is a regular on the local Australian MMA scene. A referee is an official, in a variety of sports and competition, responsible for enforcing the rules of the sport, including sportsmanship decisions such as ejection. ''The Ultimate Fighter'' is an American reality television series and mixed martial arts (MMA) competition produced by the Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC) and Pilgrim Media Group currently airing on ESPN+. Krzysztof Soszyński (; born August 2, 1977) is a Polish–Canadian actor and retired mixed martial artist. An 11-year competitor from 2003 until 2014, Soszynski fought in the UFC, Strikeforce, the Los Angeles Anacondas of the IFL, and was a contestant on '' The Ultimate Fighter: Team Nogueira vs. Team Mir.'' Stephan Patrick Bonnar (April 4, 1977 – December 22, 2022) was an American mixed martial artist. Bonnar competed as a Light Heavyweight in the UFC for most of his career. Bonnar was the runner-up on The Ultimate Fighter 1, his TUF Ultimate Finale loss to Forrest Griffin is widely considered to be the most important fight in the history of the UFC. Early life and education Bonnar was born in Hammond, Indiana, and raised in Munster, Indiana, attending Munster High School.
