John Scott (darts Player)
John Scott (born 17 February 1981 in Harrow, London) is an English darts player currently playing in World Darts Federation events. His nickname is Gnasher. Career Scott made his major debut at the 2012 UK Open at the Reebok Stadium in Bolton. He lost out 4–2 to Brian Woods in the preliminary round. He qualified via the UK Open Order of Merit in tied 96th place with a total of £600 - winning £200 in three of the eight qualifying events. Scott also qualified for the Austrian Darts Open by defeating Mark Hylton in the qualifying event. He lost 6–5 in the first round of the main event to Denis Ovens. In 2013, Scott once again qualified for the 2013 UK Open at the Reebok Stadium in Bolton, making his televised debut in a 5–2 defeat to James Hubbard. Harrow () is a large town in Greater London, England, and serves as the principal settlement of the London Borough of Harrow. The 2013 Speedy Services UK Open was a darts tournament staged by the Professional Darts Corporation. It was the eleventh year of the UK Open tournament where, following numerous regional qualifying heats throughout Britain, players competed in a single elimination tournament to be crowned champion. The tournament was held at the Reebok Stadium in Bolton, England, between 6–9 June 2013, and has the nickname, "the FA Cup of darts" as a random draw is staged after each round until the final. Phil Taylor won the title, defeating Andy Hamilton 11–4 in the final to claim his fifth and final UK Open title. The 2013 UK Open was the last UK Open to be held at the Reebok Stadium in Bolton, and was the last UK Open to be broadcast on Sky Sports in June. 2016 UK Open
The 2016 Coral UK Open was a darts tournament staged by the Professional Darts Corporation. It was the fourteenth year of the tournament where, following numerous regional qualifying heats throughout Britain, players competing in a single elimination tournament to be crowned champion. The tournament was held for the third time at the Butlin's Resort in Minehead, England, between 4–6 March 2016, and has the nickname, "the FA Cup of darts" as a random draw will be staged after each round until the final. In a repeat of last year's final, Michael van Gerwen beat Peter Wright to retain his title. During the tournament, he also hit a nine-dart finish against the then-unknown Rob Cross in the fourth round. Maik Langendorf
Maik Langendorf (born 11 March 1972) is a former German-based Austrian professional darts player. He won a PDC tour card on the second day of the 2017 PDC Darts Qualifying School. Mark Walsh (darts Player)
Mark Walsh (born 2 February 1965) is a former English professional darts player who competed in Professional Darts Corporation (PDC) tournaments. He reached No. 6 in the PDC Order of Merit. Walsh reached his first major televised final in 2005, when he was beaten by Phil Taylor (darts player), Phil Taylor in the 2005 UK Open, UK Open. Kevin Painter
Kevin Painter (born 12 July 1967) is an English retired darts player, known as "The Artist". He is arguably most famous for finishing as the runner-up to Phil Taylor in the 2004 PDC World Championship final, now widely credited as one of the greatest televised matches in the history of the sport. 2015 PDC European Tour Event 1
The 2015 German Darts Championship was the first of nine PDC European Tour events on the 2015 PDC Pro Tour. The tournament took place at Halle 39, Hildesheim, Germany, between 13–15 February 2015. It featured a field of 48 players and £115,000 in prize money, with £25,000 going to the winner. Gary Anderson was the defending champion, having beaten Justin Pipe 6–5 in the 2014 tournament´s final, and in this year's final Michael van Gerwen won the title by beating Anderson 6–2. The 2014 PDC Pro Tour was a series of non-televised darts tournaments organised by the Professional Darts Corporation (PDC). Professional Dart Players Association Players Championships, UK Open Qualifiers, and European Tour events are the events that make up the Pro Tour. This year there were 34 PDC Pro Tour events held – 20 Players Championships, 6 UK Open Qualifiers, and 8 European Tour events. The Professional Darts Corporation (PDC) is a professional darts organisation in the United Kingdom, established in 1992 when a group of leading players split from the British Darts Organisation (BDO) to form what was initially called the World Darts Council (WDC). Arron Monk
Arron Monk (born 15 April 1990) is an English professional darts player who competes in Professional Darts Corporation (PDC) events. He is the son of fellow former professional darts player and the 1996 Winmau World Masters winner Colin Monk. Career Monk came to prominence with a group of young darts players at the 2010 UK Open which included Joe Cullen, William O'Connor and Reece Robinson. Lee Palfreyman (born 5 January 1977 in Liverpool) is an English professional darts player who plays in the Professional Darts Corporation events.
