John Rombotis
John Rombotis (born 13 October 1976) is a former Australian rules footballer who played for Fitzroy, Port Adelaide and Richmond in the Australian Football League (AFL). Rombotis, originally from Caulfield Grammar school, played at both the Sandringham Dragons and Central U-18s before being recruited to Fitzroy with pick 23 in the 1994 AFL draft. AFL career Fitzroy career (1995–1996) After four appearances in 1995, Rombotis managed to play every single game the following season but it was a poor year for Fitzroy, and he experienced just one win. He gathered the only two Brownlow Medal votes of his career for a 29 disposal effort against Carlton. Port Adelaide career (1997) Instead of joining the newly formed Brisbane Lions in 1997, Rombotis made his way to the competition's other new club, Port Adelaide, which picked up Rombotis with the sixth pick of the 1996 AFL draft. Sandringham Dragons
The Sandringham Dragons are an Australian rules football club playing in the NAB League, the top statewide under-18 competition in Victoria, Australia. They are based at the Trevor Barker Oval in Sandringham, Victoria, representing the southern suburban area of Melbourne. The Dragons were one of the founding metropolitan clubs of the competition in 1992 as part of a plan by the Victorian State Football League to replace the traditional club zones with independent junior clubs. This was to help aid in player development and the process of the AFL draft. The club was originally named the ''Central Dragons'' and played out of Toorak Oval in Prahran, Victoria. In 1995 the name of the club was changed to ''Prahran Dragons'' as part of the agreement which saw the Prahran Two Blues exit the senior Victorian Football League. Roxburgh Park Football Club
The Roxburgh Park Football Club is an Australian rules football club located 24 km north of Melbourne in the new housing estate of Roxburgh Park. It was founded as a junior club in 2002, fielding seven junior teams in the Essendon District Football League. The senior team was formed in 2005 and admitted to the EDFL's B Grade competition the same year. It won 6 of its 17 fixtures in its debut season to finish 11th. Belgrave Football Club
Belgrave Football Club, nicknamed The Magpies, competes in the Outer East Football Netball League. Belgrave had competed in the YVMDFL since 1966 where it was a founder member. After winning the 2012 Division 2 Premiership Belgrave return to Division 1 for the first time in years. A very disappointing year in 2016, saw Belgrave drop back down into Division 2. The club rallied and won the premiership in both the Senior and Reserve Grades, however the club again struggled to remain competitive during the 2018 season, finishing a disappointing second last.
