John Noack
John Frederick Noack (born 16 May 1944) is a former Australian rules footballer who played for Geelong in the Victorian Football League The Victorian Football League (VFL) is an Australian rules football league in Australia serving as one of the second-tier regional semi-professional competitions which sit underneath the fully professional Australian Football League (AFL). It ... (now known as the Australian Football League). Noack is of Wendish descent and was one of the founders of the Wendish Heritage Society of Australia. Noack attended Concordia College in Adelaide and went on to study history, philosophy and languages at Adelaide University. Although he intended to be a history and geography teacher, his father influenced him into the ministry and he completed the Lutheran Seminary course in 1968. Yorketown, South Australia
Yorketown is a town and a locality in the Australian state of South Australia located in the southern Yorke Peninsula about west of the state capital of Adelaide and about south of the municipal seat of Maitland. At the 2016 census, the locality had a population of 969 of which 642 lived in its town centre. The Sturt Football Club, nicknamed The Double Blues, is a semi-professional Australian rules football club based in the suburb of Unley, South Australia, which plays in the South Australian National Football League. Founded in 1901 by the Sturt Cricket Club, the club initially struggled to make the finals, however, in 1915 they won their first Premiership.
