John Jenkins (rugby)
John "Jack" T. Jenkins was a Welsh rugby union and professional rugby league footballer who played in the 1900s and 1910s. He played club level rugby union (RU) for Llwynypia RFC and representative level rugby league (RL) for Wales, and at club level for Warrington ( Heritage № 139), as a or , i.e. number 6, or 7. Playing career International honors Jack Jenkins won a cap for Wales (RL) while at Warrington in 1909. Llwynypia RFC
Llwynypia RFC was a rugby union club located in the Welsh village of Llwynypia in the Rhondda. The team provided several international players during the late 19th and early 20th centuries, most notably Willie Llewellyn, who was not only selected to represent Wales while playing at the club, but later played for the British Isles on their 1904 tour of Australia and New Zealand. History Llwynypia RFC was founded in 1891,Smith (1980), pg 11. one of several Rhondda teams to emerge with the industrialisation of the valleys, when the mining of the coalfields led to a mass influx of economic immigrants. Llwynypia may of been formed before 1891 as there is evidence of a Llwynypia team being played in the early 1880s. William Griffin Jenkins (born December 15, 1970) is an American television and radio personality, reporter, and producer for Fox News Channel. Education Jenkins graduated from the Memphis University School in 1989. He earned a B.A. degree in English from the University of Mississippi in 1993. Career After college, Jenkins was an intern for Republican Congressman Don Sundquist. In 1993, Jenkins began working at Salem Radio Network where he served as an associate producer for Oliver North's War Stories and produced the syndicated radio program Common Sense Radio with Oliver North. He currently works out of Washington, DC, for Fox News Channel, having joined the network as a radio producer in 2003. Jenkins worked as a producer for the Tony Snow Radio Program until Snow accepted the role of White House Press Secretary in 2006.
