John Gillon
John Benjamin Gillon III (born March 31, 1994) is an American professional basketball player. He played in college for Little Rock, Colorado State, and Syracuse. College career Gillon started his collegiate career at Arkansas-Little Rock, where he averaged 10.6 points in his freshman season. Afterwards, he decided to transfer to Colorado State where, under NCAA transfer rules, he would redshirt during his first year there. During his redshirt sophomore year he would only start one game for Colorado State, and averaged 7.9 points. The following season that number would improve to 13.2 points per game, and he also shot 88% from the free throw line. After graduating from Colorado State, with one more year of remaining college eligibility Gillon decided to transfer again to Syracuse. His scoring numbers took a dip, averaging 10.5 per game, however he led the team in assists per game with 5.4, which was also his career-best. The point guard (PG), also called the one or the point, is one of the five Basketball positions, positions in a regulation basketball game. A point guard has perhaps the most specialized role of any position. Point guards are expected to run the team's offense by controlling the ball and making sure that it gets to the right player at the right time. The Basketball Tournament
The Basketball Tournament (TBT) is an open-application, single-elimination tournament played each summer in the United States. The 2022 edition features 64 teams with a $1 million winner-take-all prize, broadcast by ESPN. TBT was founded in 2014 by Jonathan Mugar. Format Teams in TBT are arranged by the general manager, sometimes based on which college basketball program the players competed for. The tournament has had as many as 97 teams, in 2015, and as few as 24 teams, in 2020. Since 2016, the tournament has most often used a 64-team field. In 2019, the 64 teams were divided into eight regions, with each regional winner advancing to the championship venue. In 2020, the tournament field was reduced to 24 teams with all games played at a single venue, due to the COVID-19 pandemic in the United States. The Nemzeti Bajnokság I/A ( en, National Championship I/A, commonly abbreviated NB I/A) is the highest level league of club men's basketball in Hungary. Format The league comprises 14 teams. A NB I/A season is split into a league stage and a playoff/playout stage. At the end of the league stage (14 teams) the top 5 teams play another league stage, another 5 play with each other, and then the top 8 teams qualify for the playoff stage. The Basketball Super League ( tr, Basketbol Süper Ligi; BSL), also known as the Türkiye Sigorta Basketbol Süper Ligi for sponsorship reasons, is the top men's professional basketball division of the Turkish basketball league system. It replaced the former Turkish Basketball Championship (1946–1966) to become the Turkish Basketball League (TBL) until 2015 when it adopted its current name while the TBL name became exclusive to the second-tier and third-tier divisions. Anthony Ynique "Cat" Barber (born July 25, 1994) is an American professional basketball player for Porto of the Liga Portuguesa de Basquetebol (LPB).
