John Garko
Gianni Garko (born Giovanni Garcovich; 15 July 1935), often billed as John Garko and occasionally Gary Hudson, is an Italian actor who found fame as a leading man in 1960s Spaghetti Westerns. He is perhaps best known for his lead role as Sartana, starting with the first official film '' If You Meet Sartana Pray for Your Death'' and starring in three sequels as this character, the role played by George Hilton in the third film in the series. Early life and career Garko was born in Zara, he moved from Zara to Trieste, and later Rome to attend University and Drama School. His first prominent film role was a small but important part in the Oscar nominated Kapò (1959). He continued to play parts in several Italian productions including sword and sandal epics such as ' (1961) and '' Mole Men Against the Son of Hercules'' (1961). It was the fifth film in the Don Camillo series. Plot After receiving a tractor as a gift from the collective farm (kolkhoz) of a Soviet village on the Don River, Communist mayor Peppone plans to twin Brescello with the unnamed village. Clarence LeRoy Van Cleef Jr. (January 9, 1925 – December 16, 1989) was an American actor. He appeared in over 170 film and television roles in a career spanning nearly 40 years, but is best known as a star of Italian Spaghetti Westerns, particularly the Sergio Leone-directed ''Dollars Trilogy'' films '' For a Few Dollars More'' (1965) and ''The Good, the Bad and the Ugly'' (1966). William Berger, also known as Bill Berger and Wilhelm Berger, born Wilhelm Thomas Berger (June 20, 1928 – October 2, 1993) was an Austrian American actor, mostly associated with Euro and spaghetti Westerns, as well as travel documentaries.
