John Foreman (musician)
John Gregory Foreman OAM (born 24 April 1972) is an Australian musician and television personality. In 1992, he joined the Network Ten team for '' Good Morning Australia with Bert Newton'', serving as Music Director until retiring in 2004. During 2003–2008 he was Musical Director of ''Australian Idol''. Early life Foreman was born to a Jewish family in Newcastle, New South Wales, and studied at Kotara High School in Newcastle, before moving to the Conservatorium High School and the Sydney Conservatorium of Music. Career Compositions and albums Foreman released ''No Jivin in 1993 on the BMG label which received an ARIA Award nomination for Best Jazz Album. Order Of Australia
The Order of Australia is an honour that recognises Australian citizens and other persons for outstanding achievement and service. It was established on 14 February 1975 by Elizabeth II, Queen of Australia, on the advice of the Australian Government. Before the establishment of the order, Australian citizens received British honours. The Monarch of Australia is sovereign head of the order, while the Governor-General of Australia is the principal companion/dame/knight (as relevant at the time) and chancellor of the order. Silvie Paladino (born 18 August 1971) is an Australian singer. She began singing at the age of nine, learning at an inner-Melbourne music school, and from an early age won several major singing competitions, including the Italian Song Festival and the grand final of Channel Ten's ''Young Talent Time''. Majida El Roumi Baradhy ( ar, ماجدة الرومي برادعي; born 13 December 1956) is a Lebanese soprano singer and United Nations Goodwill Ambassador. Early life Majida El Roumi Al Baradhy was born on 13 December 1956 in Kfarshima. He father, Halim El Roumi, was from a Melkite Christian family from Tyre, South Lebanon, and her mother was Egyptian. Her father was born in Tyre in 1919 but later moved to Haifa, Palestine at the age of two with his whole family to avoid the hardships of World War I. Josep Maria Carreras Coll (; born 5 December 1946), better known as José Carreras (, ), is a Spanish operatic tenor who is particularly known for his performances in the operas of Donizetti, Verdi and Puccini. The Asian Games, also known as Asiad, is a continental multi-sport event held every four years among athletes from all over Asia.
