John Carney is an American radio talk show host. He was named 2010 Best AM Radio Personality by the '' Riverfront Times''. Career Carney joined KTRS when it changed to a talk format in 1997, and worked the late morning slot until March 5, 1998. He then worked at KMOX in St. Louis, Missouri from 1999 to 2011. Carney worked at KEZK KEZK-FM (102.5 Hertz, MHz) is a commercial radio, commercial radio station licensed to St. Louis, St. Louis, Missouri. KTRS (550 kHz) is a commercial AM radio station in St. Louis, Missouri. The station airs a talk radio format with some sports. The station is owned by KTRS-AM License, L.L.C., a consortium of local investors which includes actor and St. Louis native John Goodman. KTRS's studios and offices are located in Westport Plaza in Maryland Heights. KTRS broadcasts with 5,000 watts of power, day and night. It uses a directional antenna at night to avoid interfering with other stations on AM 550. The transmitter is located near Gateway Motorsports Park in Madison, Illinois. KMOX (1120 AM) is a commercial radio station in St. Louis, Missouri. Owned by Audacy, Inc., it is a 50,000 watt Class A clear-channel station with a non-directional signal. Martin J. Kilcoyne (born March 17, 1968) is the sports director at KTVI-TV FOX 2 in St. Louis, Missouri. Kilcoyne anchors the 5, 6 and 9 p.m. sportscasts on Sunday through Thursday nights. From 2006-2010, Kilcoyne was FOX 2's play-by-play announcer for the St. Louis Rams' pre-season football games. Kilcoyne hosts The Martin Kilcoyne Show, a weekday (12:00 PM–3:00 PM CT) talk show on St. Louis-area radio station KTRS (AM) 550. '' St. Louis Magazine'' featured him on its 2007 "A-List."
