John Burroughs High School
John Burroughs High School is a public high school located in Burbank, in Los Angeles County. It is known for its notable alumni, and being the filming location for many television shows. History The school was built in the 1920s, but was not established as a high school until 1948. The school was named after naturalist John Burroughs. Academics The school scored a 768 on the Academic Performance Index in 2007, and in 2010 reached a score of 819, meeting the school's 12th consecutive goal. 90% of students passed the math portion of the CAHSEE (California High School Exit Exams) on the first attempt, while 92% of students passed the English portion of the CAHSEE on first attempt. Ridgecrest, CA
Ridgecrest is a city in Kern County, California, United States, along U.S. Route 395 in the Indian Wells Valley in northeastern Kern County, adjacent to the Naval Air Weapons Station China Lake (NAWS, or China Lake). It was incorporated as a city in 1963. The population was 27,959 at the 2020 census, up slightly from 27,616 at the 2010 census. Ridgecrest is surrounded by four mountain ranges; the Sierra Nevada on the west, the Cosos on the north, the Argus Range on the east, and the El Paso Mountains on the south. It is approximately from the Lancaster/Palmdale area, from Bakersfield, and from San Bernardino, the three nearest major urban centers. ''Ellen'' is an American television sitcom that aired on ABC from March 29, 1994, to July 22, 1998, consisting of 109 episodes. The title role is Ellen Morgan, a neurotic bookstore owner in her thirties, played by stand-up comedian Ellen DeGeneres. The title of the series was ''These Friends of Mine'' for the first season, but it was subsequently changed to avoid confusion with the NBC series ''Friends'', which premiered in September 1994. Wayne Anthony Allwine (February 7, 1947 – May 18, 2009) was an American voice actor, sound effects editor and foley artist for The Walt Disney Company.
