John Bizon
John Bizon (born September 1, 1951) was an American politician and physician who served as a member of the Michigan Senate for the 19th district. Elected in November 2018, he assumed office on January 1, 2019, and served until December 31, 2022. He did not rerun after pleading guilty to assault and battery charges for grabbing/verbally harassing a nurse (allegedly two) treating him with COVID-19 in August 2021. Early life and education John Bizon was born in Detroit on September 1, 1951, and raised in Allen Park, Michigan. He attended St. Frances Cabrini Elementary and was an altar boy. He earned a Bachelor of Science from Michigan State University and a medical degree from Wayne State University School of Medicine. Michigan's 19th Senate district is one of 38 districts in the Michigan Senate. The 19th district was created by the 1850 Michigan Constitution, as the 1835 constitution only permitted a maximum of eight senate districts. It has been represented by Sean McCann (politician), Sean McCann since 2023, succeeding Republican Party (United States), Republican John Bizon. Upper Peninsula Of Michigan
The Upper Peninsula of Michigan – also known as Upper Michigan or colloquially the U.P. – is the northern and more elevated of the two major landmasses that make up the U.S. state of Michigan; it is separated from the Lower Peninsula by the Straits of Mackinac. Michigan's 7th Congressional District
Michigan's 7th congressional district is a United States congressional district in Southern Michigan and portions of Central Michigan. From 2004 to 2013 it consisted of all of Branch, Eaton, Hillsdale, Jackson, and Lenawee counties, and included most of Calhoun and a large portion of western and northern Washtenaw counties. The current district, which was created in 2022, is centered around Lansing, Michigan's state capital, and includes all of Clinton, Shiawassee, Ingham, and Livingston counties, as well as portions of Eaton and Oakland counties. John J. H. "Joe" Schwarz (born November 15, 1937), is an American physician and independent politician from Michigan, who was elected to the United States House of Representatives in 2004 as a moderate Republican. He represented Michigan's 7th congressional district from January 2005 to January 2007. Early life and career Schwarz was born and raised in Battle Creek, Michigan, after his family moved there in 1935 so his father could work as a physician in the Veterans Administration Hospital.
