John Abineri
John Abineri (18 May 1928 – 29 June 2000) was an English actor. Born in London, he attended the Old Vic drama school and described himself as "Well educated from the age of five to eighteen". He spoke a number of languages (including German, Russian and French) fluently, which led to him being cast as a number of different nationalities. His extensive television performances included numerous roles in cult TV drama series, for which he is now probably best remembered. He had regular roles in '' Survivors'' as Hubert Goss, and in HTV's ''Robin of Sherwood'' as Herne the Hunter. He appeared on four occasions in ''Doctor Who'' and also in the ''Blake's 7'' episode "Hostage", taking over the role of Ushton after the sudden death of the actor Duncan Lamont, with whom he had co-starred in the ''Doctor Who'' serial ''Death to the Daleks''. He also appeared as Sir George Mortenhurze in the BBC's '' The Moon Stallion'', as Arnold Rimmer's father in ''Red Dwarf'', and as Father Grub ... Whodunnit? (British Game Show)
''Whodunnit?'' was a British television game show that aired on ITV from 15 August 1972 to 26 June 1978. The show originally aired as a pilot and was hosted by Shaw Taylor. It then became a full show, with the first series being hosted by Edward Woodward and then Jon Pertwee took over hosting duties from the second series until the show's end. Development The armchair detective gameshow was devised by Jeremy Lloyd and Lance Percival. Multiple panelists (Joanna Lumley, Mollie Sudgen, Robin Nedwell) and suspects (Christopher Biggins) would later appear as characters in the 1990 game show ''Cluedo'', heavily inspired by ''Whodunnit?''. Format Each week it featured a short murder-mystery drama enacted in front of a panel of four celebrity guests who then had to establish who the murderer was. Red Dwarf
''Red Dwarf'' is a British science fiction comedy franchise created by Rob Grant and Doug Naylor, which primarily consists of a television sitcom that aired on BBC Two between 1988 and 1999, and on Dave since 2009, gaining a cult following. The series follows low-ranking technician Dave Lister, who awakens after being in suspended animation for three million years to find that he is the last living human, and that he is alone on the mining spacecraft ''Red Dwarf''—save for a hologram his deceased bunkmate Arnold Rimmer and "Cat", a life form which evolved from Lister's pregnant cat. As of 2020, the cast includes Chris Barrie as Rimmer, Craig Charles as Lister, Danny John-Jules as Cat, Robert Llewellyn as the sanitation droid Kryten, and Norman Lovett as the ship's computer, Holly.
